Ockendon Road Residents' Association (ORRA)

Representation of communities or interest groups at the Ward Panel
meetings of the Metropolitan Police Canonbury Safer Neighbourhoods
Team (SNT) requires that the Panel member is part of an association
which in turn represents the interests of that community or interest
group. This was the motivation for the formation a few months' ago
of the Ockendon Road Residents' Association, a group which meets
informally every two-three months to provide guidance to the Panel
member on the priorities of the Ockendon Road community.

The aims of the Association have more recently broadened to include
the provision of information of more general interest or concern to
residents and to represent their interests outside the remit of the
SNT Ward Panel. This was the inspiration for the creation of this
website.

The ORRA committee comprises ten members representing, insofar
as possible, different sections of our community - house and flat dwellers,
single people and those with families, diferent age groups and residents
from all parts of the road.

If you are interested in serving on this committee, please contact ORRA via
contact@orra.org.uk
