We are delighted to present the world premiere of Judith Paris'
latest play, starring herself as the redoubtable Madame
Tussaud.
Learn and marvel!
(In the meantime Second Skin Theatre's edgy double bill, Stay With
Me Till Dawn/Knuckleball is making our audiences
sit up - quality
drama, beautifully executed and not for the faint hearted.)
WAXING LYRICAL

Written and performed by Judith
Paris

Ninon Jerome

This new one-woman play explores the life of a most remarkable
woman. Marie Tussaud escaped the guillotine and survived the
horrors
of the French revolution. She toured the towns of Britain for thirty
three hard years with her travelling wax cabinet, fighting off
competition against a background of fire, riot, shipwreck and
betrayal. She personified persistence, fortitude, dedication and
self belief.
Why does everyone know of her Exhibition but no one
know her story?
